I have loved this store for years and am so happy they are still around. They carry some of best made and truly classic pair of shoes. I'm not a shoe hound like some of my girlfriends, but if I were, this place would have my whole paycheck every week. They are pricey, but really worth the money. Great quality and comfortable considering that most of their sizes are in Euro. I still have a pair of boots I got for myself 6 yrs ago and they look brand new and I usually walk my poor shoes to death. A good shoe investment.

This is my first 5 star rating review and let me tell you, this place deserves it. My husband bought me here as a surprise and after waiting in the rain for a 1/2 hour to get in, I kept thinking -it better be worth it. The place is as small as a restaurant can get. What they lack in size, they make up for in excellent service and darn good dessert. This dessert bar has a prix fix $12 menu ($19 if dessert is paired with the suggested dessert wine) and every dish is a mouth watering delight. You'll want to try all the "dishes" and at such a marginal price, you can. But don't try to make reservations, because you can't. It's first come first serve. And if you come after 8pm, prepare to wait outside for quite a bit. It's not a velvet rope thing. There is simply no room. But I promise you it's worth the wait. You'll realize how good it is, when your standing outside glaring at the slow poke eaters completely oblivious to your hatred as they slowly devour their pink peppercorn sorbet and sip on Moscati without a care in the world. Don't fret, in about 20 minutes, that will be you.

This review will be in song. "It's creepy and it's kooky. Mysterious and spooky and all together ooky, the evolution store. The store is a museum, when people come they squeam, the Evolution store. I admitt I was squimish the first time I walked into this den of framed dead creatures. I quickly got over it and was genuinely caught up in all the interesting things this store has to offer. I love the collection of shells and different stones. I even found a coral ring that I'm sure I'll treasure for years to come. I was always a fan of ooky anyway.

A store that is guarded by pigs is a place you have to check out a least once. Once will be enough to get you hooked. You'll be hard pressed not to pick up a special little something for yourself. They have a little bit of everything and it's all top notch cashmere and silk. You'll find lovely silver and gold jewelry, beautiful hats and gloves, and if you've dragged you're male significant other with, he'll find some pretty cool items to keep him busy too. Dare I say this could be your permanent "Destination" for all your shopping needs.

With so many amazing chocolate stores popping up over the city, it's pretty hard to pick which one is the "best". If I were to pick one on pure ambiance, it would have to be Vosges. The place is cool and sleek. The customer service is superb. And samples galore. Did I mention the random chocolate and wines tasting? What more could a chocolate connoisseur ask for? And they also stay open until 8pm. Oh and the chocolate is really good too. They have flavors out of this world.

At first glance you are tempted to just keep walking. But then you are intrigued by the array of different stamps lining the window. Then my friend you are hooked. Just get ready to drop a $20 and get over it. It's well worth it, even if you don't really want the stamp, to have the most engaging conversation with the owner. His lyrical Irish brogue will keep you hanging longer than you want, but you can't seem to hit the door. And the weird part is he's not even trying to sell you anything. The beautiful stamps sell themselves. And if you happen to love stamps, well you've just met you're favorite store and you're new best friends. And ladies, he's single!

I first discovered this jewel of a store during a potato chip and soda tasting event they sponsored this past June. I went for the free junk food, but return for the great customer service and the no hard sell atmosphere. I'm a technophobe and pretty much at the mercy of anyone selling me items I "must have yo save my gear. You won't find any "used car salesmen" at Tekserve. They are helpful and won't sell you anything you don't need. Buy your Apple at the Apple store, but get it serviced at Tekserve. And don't fret about missing the chips and soda gig. They have a working 10 cent coke machine that's pretty sweet. Customers Only!
