Working her magic from the top of Queen Anne Hill, Stacya Silverman (a licensed esthetician since 1992) is an artist. Her resume is impressive. Her manner is personable. Her studio is like home. But most importantly my are, to quote Ms. Silverman, "dyn-o-mite!"
She does it all, from brow tints, to facial waxing, from bikini waxing to facials. Her fees are commensurate with her peers.
Bonus: If you arrive early for your appointment, and I recommended it, peruse her extensive library of etiquette books. You will learn something you never knew.

My wedding pictures were taken with black-and-white film (by Doug Vann...read my review http://members.judysbook.com/posts/revieweditems/Service.aspx?ri=37537) and I took them to Panda for developing. They did a fabulous job.

I have also had her make clothes for me (that dress that fits you perfectly that if they made it in every color you would buy it in every color). She is careful with measurements (decide now if you want any extra room in those pants because) her tailoring is precise. She let's you know when her work will be done and always keeps her promise.
Last year my husband lost a lot of weight and she managed to save his work wardrobe for a fraction of what it would have cost to replace.
Her shop is in Magnolia, a small well-lit workshop just on the far side of Magnolia village. Her fees are somewhere in the middle, as far as I can tell.

Getting fit for a bra can be a humiliating experience. And for so many reasons. Yesterday I put those days behind me.
Amanda Bourgault, assistant manager of lingerie at Nordstrom Northgate is a pro. She is knows her floor, she understands fit and has professional compassion for women's body image issues...well, at least mine. I had a wardrobe problem--a full bustline and a holiday dress with a plunging neckline--and together we solved it. One reasonably priced bra and some double-sided lingerie tape and I am ready for anything, embracing my inner Sophia Loren.
Although it is smaller than the downtown flagship, there are more reasons to shop Nordstrom Northgate than free parking.
