A fascinating store with many first editions. A strong section on womans books and feminism. Interesting sourse for books on psychology. I have picked up a couple of nice out of print childrens books here although the childrens section is small. They also have alot of books on African_American isssues. Definitely worth a look if you are in the Columbia University area.

This shop sells the work of Samuel french the premier play publishers in the world. This isn't the place to look for the score of Cats as you can order that at Barnes And Noble. This is the place to buy obscure plays from 20 or 30 years ago. The staff is extremely and will help you locate plays even if you don't have the name just remember a piece of the plot.

Even though 90% of the people who walk through the door are just looking that doesn't stop the staff from being friendly and courteous all the time. Leave the ground floor and wander the other floors. See the silverware displays. Just a wonderful place to spend some time.

Since the 1960's Norma Kamali has been designing trendy but classic women's clothes. The store is gorgeous, white walls and floors with 3 floors of selling space. The clothing is beautifully displayed and so is her line of Wellness products. These products include Lovely Bubbly a line of flavored drinks and a line of olive oil. The staff is always gracious and I've enjoyed shopping for gifts here.
