Ponca City Library is such an enjoyable and informative place to visit. They have an extensive history archive located on the lower floor. It contains local history as well as regional and nationwide data. Family archives can be found here which include census records. They have a local historical society which is worth joining if you are buff. We met some of the members an they are very welcoming. The library is home to the Richard Gordon Matzene Art Collection of oriental and western art. A refreshing find for art lovers! Their hours vary so check the website before visiting.
