Great food, recently remodeled

Wednesday, August 03, 2005
I've been going to Paseo for many years (I lived nearby from 1992 to 2004). I love their sandwiches - just make sure you roll up your sleeves first - they're messy! The rice and beans are excellent, as well, although the spiciness varies day-to-day - it's been too hot for my son a couple of times, but usually it's just right. Actually, almost everything is good. I've never tried the tofu dishes, but I've had everything else. The corn on the cob is usually nasty, but that's just a side anyway. They recently remodeled, expanding out into what used to be the entryway - it's still tiny, but not quite as tiny as it used to be. I ALWAYS call in my order ahead of time, as otherwise you'll sit and wait for quite a long time before you get your food.
