The Wewoka Baking Company is typical of many businesses in this area. If you judge them by the outside appearance of their building, you are definitely missing out on some fabulous baked goods! This company is only a couple blocks from where I live, so we tend to go there for special occasions for the kids. The only thing is you have to get there really, really early to get a good selection. I have been there at nine in the morning, and they've been pretty much sold out of the fresh donuts... they are very popular in this area! The instant you walk in the door, you are overcome with the aroma of all the fresh baked goods... it is wonderful! They offer fresh donuts every morning, fresh baked breads, they will bake beautiful cakes for special occasions. And their prices are wonderful! For around $5, I can come home with a huge box of donuts for my family of six, and have donuts left over! They also sell chips, pop, juice, newspapers, many of the items you would find at a convenience store, but you definitely won't find donuts like theirs at any convenience store! This baker gets an A+ rating from me, both for quality and price!
