Located on the western edge of Lookout Mountain, this is one of the most scenic parks in the state. The park straddles a deep gorge cut into the mountain by Sitton Gulch Creek, and elevation differs from 800 to 1,980 feet. The most spectacular view into the canyon is found near the picnic area parking lot; however, additional views can be found along the rim trail. You can hike,
pic-nic or camp or rent a cottage.Hardy visitors who hike to the bottom of the gorge find two waterfalls cascading over layers of sandstone and shale into pools below. Outdoor lovers do not miss this park’s spectacular scenery. We go every couple of years and we all love it.

Anna Ruby Falls marks the junction of Curtis and York Creeks to form the twin waterfalls known as Anna Ruby Falls. Its a paved 0.4-mile footpath leads from the parking lot to the base of the falls. It is a little up hill. I use to walk it with ease, now its a bit of a chore! LOL Walking will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Benches are provided along the way. There is a $2 parking fee for cars and a $10 parking fee for buses. But well worth it. The falls are beautiful! You will love it!

There are 5 kiddie rides including gas powered carts and a rare pre-World War II miniature train. The park also has batting cages, an arcade, remote controlled boats, and the ultimate Water Wars water balloon game. Its action-packed and wholesome fun for everyone. We love it and visit often. To bad its not open all the time!
