This is a very casual, friendly place. Nice place to go with kids. Prices are very reasonable. Free parking outside, but sometimes hard to find a place. Nice to go for a walk on Melrose after dinner, too.

We tend to order the same things every time -- because we love them so much. When you don't feel like cooking and don't want to spend a lot, go to California Chicken Cafe. Free street parking right outside, but not a lot of it.

It can get crowded on the weekends, so we like to go mid-week. They have incredible desserts, so save room! Lots of times we even buy an extra dessert to take home. Free street parking, but sometimes you have to drive around a bit to find a place.

We love to go to Cafe Du Village on Saturday nights. The food is great and always served piping hot. The waiters are friendly. The ambiance is great. You can sit and watch the Larchmont crowd walk by. It's very relaxing. They never rush you, so you can sit as long as you like. There is free parking on Larchmont, but sometimes it's hard to find a spot.

We love Marie Callenders! The kids love the homemade pot pies, and we love the complete dinners. They have great salads, too. And, of course, you must always save room for dessert! They have superb pies. We usually eat dessert there -- and then buy a pie to take home! The waiters/waitresses are very accommodating and pleasant. There is ample FREE parking right behind the restaurant.

this restaurant has the best oriental appetizers in town! the entrees are good, too. it's a bit pricey but very much worth it. the ambiance is wonderful -- nice for a romantic evening. the wait staff is very helpful -- especially if you want recommendations on new dishes to try. our favorite dishes include most of their shrimp dishes and all of the appetizers! it can get crowded on weekends, but it's well worth the wait! there is plenty of parking in the beverly center shopping mall just upstairs from the restaurant.
