The Goodwill Industries store in Wake Forest is loaded with great deals. I often find wonderful books for my family ($1.00 hardcover/$.50 paperback). When my son needed a jacket, we headed to Goodwill. The prices are more than reasonable, especially when you consider how much retail stores usually charge. I've been able to do a bit of birthday/Christmas shopping too. Several gifts (some new in the original packaging) are currently set aside in a box in my closet.
