This is a nice neighborhood wine store, and from time to time they do have special wine tasting events to get you familiar with new wines. They have a wide selection of the basics in low and moderate price ranges, so you will find yourself stopping by often. For really special ocassions, they will recommend a champagne or better type of wine that won't disappoint. I found for more everyday they have a nice assortment and some new specials every few weeks to check out.

Their cheeses are the most fresh and best tasting I have ever found, and it's amazing that they actually know about all of them! There are other things to buy here as well - but really, come just for the cheese experience. If you have an occassion in mind like an open house party - all the better so you can more cheese than you anticipated. After you taste, the hardest part is chosing which to buy! Go with their tasting selections of 'new' cheeses that you may not have heard of - you won't be disappointed!

They are very friendly, and you can even open up an account so you don't always have to carry cash or your credit cards around. They often put in coupon cards in the valuepak mailings, so take a look fo them, as they aren't just for new customers. There is something special about wearing newly cleaned clothes, especially as the seasons change.

Just one caution - the flooring is always a bit more slick right after this treatment, so be careful if you have small children or tend to run around in socks which are slippery as well. They often have discount coupons in the mailpacks you get, so if your plans call for travel, keep an eye out for these discount rates.
