I love to buy furniture and have therefore visited most of the local furniture stores. Sid Brooke and Son ranks as one of my favorites. Although on the small side Sid Brook as a nice selection of different types of furniture. Sid Brook also offers a helpful staff that has never once put the "hard sell" on me. Furthermore I feel that that Sid Brook's prices are more reasonable than most of the other quality furniture stores locally. To compliment Sid Brook's low prices, because the store is located in Pleasantville, the sales tax on your purchase will only be three percent as opposed to six percent, on a big purchase this can be a big money saver. In the end if you are in the market for furniture I would advise to definitely make a stop at Sid Brook and Son.

I used to live about three blocks away from Chester's Plants and Flowers and therefore visited often. I believe that they deliver flowers as well I never used this service, I simply would stop in and browse the bouquets and plants. You simply can not beat Chester's prices on plants and flowers. Their staff is very friendly and helpful, I learned so much about flowers and plants just shooting the breeze while browsing. And I never left empty handed, their creations were always beautiful and usually a little different from other flower shops. All in all if you are looking for a bouquet to brighten your day or a plant to brighten your living room give Chester's a try, you won't be disappointed!

My family has been using Fischer Flowers for as long as I can remember. In all of those years we have always been extremely saisfied with the product which has turned us into a family of repeat customers. Fischer definitely isn't the most inexpensive flower shop in the area, but they are worth every penny. Whenever I have sent flowers or plants through them they have always arrived on time and I have always been complemented on the arrangement. They also have another location in Atlantic City as an added bonus. If you need to send a classy, impressive flower arrangement Fischer Flowers is the place to go.

My husband and I both went to Dr.Cohen's office for all of our dental needs for about two years (around four visits). I have since switched dentists because I just wasn't satisfied enough with what Dr.Cohen had to offer. Although the service that was provided was adequate, Dr.Cohen personally laughed and joked when he found a cavity in my husband's mouth. On one visit a hygienst painfully scraped both of us raw. Nothing was wrong with the dentistry practiced on us, Dr.Cohen's office just wasn't our cup of tea.

I hated all the old cds my husband and I had somehow collected scattered all over our office. For this very annoying problem I found a great solution in CD Exchange. CD Exchange is a store the sells new and used music in the Center Point Plaza. They also buy old cds. They will pay you in either cash or credit towards new music. Now they don't give you a fortune for your dusty Go-Go's cd, but they will give you something. And their used music selection is very reasonably priced so if you were looking to trade in your old cds for someone else's old cds you could probably walk out of there without paying a dime. Or you could do what I did, unclutter your house and add a little cash to a vacation fund!

If you are in the Atlantic City and need something dry cleaned Brighton Cleaners is definitely the place to go. I used them faithfully for years and never had a problem. My items were always returned clean, pressed, and on time. A family run business the service was always great and the prices reasonable. Once I had a fashion emergency and they were able to dry clean and press a dress for me in an hour! Nicely located a block away from the Tropicana, Brighton Cleaners is a dry cleaning dream.

I was very excited to shop for my wedding gown. I went to all the local bridal salons and found Wedding Belles one of the nicest overall. The shop offers a large selection and very friendly and helpful staff. The prices are reasonable for an upscale bridal salon as well. Although this isn't the place I finally purchased my gown, I have steered many engaged friends in Wedding Belles direction. Simply for the comfortable atmosphere and laid back sales approach.

With Wawas creeping up just about everywhere in this area it is easy to overlook a little place called Northfield News. That would be a mistake. With a very good location, right on the corner of Tilton Road and Route 9, Northfield News is just waiting for a customer to stop in for a newspaper or cold beverage. The staff is friendly and helpful, the parking lot ample and easy to get in and out of, and the prices are reasonable. These are all the reasons that make it a great option for last minute forgotten items on the way to the Margate Beach!

I got turned onto Sage Jewelers by a girlfriend who swears be them, as usual she was right. I had two rings that were quite valuable that I no longer wore because I felt they were out of date. My friend suggested that I bring them to Sage to be redone. To be honest I was skeptical that I would wind up paying alot of money and still not wear the rings. Boy was I wrong, Sage was both knowledgable yet open to what I wanted. Together the jeweler and I designed 2 rings that I love. And after deciding to trade in some stones that were in the original rings that I didn't want added to the new rings I wind up paying very little for the transformations. Sage does beautiful custom work at very reasonable prices, if you are looking to update some old jewelry I would definitely suggest checking them out.
