This place is small and popular. The food is good, the portions are good, and service is usually prompt. There are a handful of chinese restaurants in West Seattle. This is definitely one of the better chinese/asian restuarants in the neighborhood. The atomoshphere is casual and nothing fancy. It does get busy and seating is limited so it would be a good idea to get there early on weekends. They're are also open until 10 on weekends.
The food is great. I highly recommend the seven flavor beef over the nine flavor beef. There is nothing like it. They also serve a great calamari appetizer. The pieces of calamri are huge and fried in what i think is a flour batter. As far as noodle dishes, both the phad kee mao and the pan fried noodles are very good.
I go the International District often for good Chinese food and I've even driven over to Yea's Wok in Bellevue. If you don't live in West Seattle, this place is definitely worth the drive over. It's located on bustling California Avenue where there are now quite a few nice bars and a small pool hall.

I'm suprised no one has said anything about their espresso!
Everyone knows already about the pizza. Sure the pizza is tremendous, but the espresso is equally amazing! I reccomend the iced freddo....

There are about four other places in Columbia City that serve espresso drinks, but Tutta Bella serves the best by far. It maybe the best coffee in South Seattle. I say 'maybe' because Galaxie on Beacon Hill also serves a fine cup Cafe Victrola and Remo's has pretty darn good drip coffee.

Not too many around, but I still make the drive to the nearest one. Very tasty pizza and great selection of specialty pizzas.

If you are going to try this place only once. Get the 'Wombo Combo'. It's a strange name, but I would eat this pizza over anything at Pagliacci. And I love Pagliacci.

It's open till 11pm which makes it real convenient. They have a good selection of the essentials and also a good selection of ethnic foods at a good price. They even carry mexican pasties. The orgranic selection could be better but I dont really buy organic that often. The staff is totally friendly and the atmosphere geniunely has a neighborhood feel. All walks of life from the neighborhood can be seen and it really gives you a sense of community.

My family and I have been going to Kamei for years. We go in groups of 8-14 and they have always been great. The atmosphere is really casual and comfortable. They give you warm towels and tea to start off. The menu contains a wide variety of items that includes a long list of starters. The bento meals are nicely displayed, generous, and delicious. The sushi and sashimi is the best deal you can get out of the three sushi restaurants on California Ave. I usually order either the saba bento, red dragon roll, and the small sashimi plate.
Definitely worth checking out for a good and inexpensive meal.

Their price on parts is ridiculous. This is beyond comparing retail at Schucks versus 'shop mark-up'. The price on parts are comparable to the dealer, the shop fees are the highest i've seen, and they will feed you a bunch of BS about it.
The labor rate is fair given it's location in Bellevue, but they sure are milking it. It may be worth the drive over to Seattle for that reason alone. As far as the quality of workmanship, let's just say I left this Midas with ruined wheel studs and one less hubcap.
While the counter people are very friendly, be very wary and get a second opinion from another shop before agreeing to anything at this one.
