“Were you ever in Girl Scouts?”

I sure was. I was only it for two years til our leader quit. And she was the only leader for our school area. We had a huge troop! I think about fifty girls or so.
I recall a halloween party that she hosted in her basement. She put all kinds of wierd stuff behind a wall that you had to reach through a curtain and feel. Then you had to guess what it was. That sticks out so vividly in my memory.
She was a really good leader. It's too bad she quit. We did all sorts of things like camping, volunteering, and more.
