David has been styling hair for many, many years. I was referred to him by a guy friend who is VERY picky about his look. I've followed David around ever since. Not too excited about the $100 each time for a cut, but he's so good that I make the sacrifice of skipping a couple happy hours during hair month. It all washes out (pun not intended). :o) And the DJ isn't too loud- but I have only gone during the day. I'd forego all the whooha of a DJ, and the bazillion assistants they have running around, and the latte bar, for lower cost cuts! You do pay more for the "experience".

I don't really know why it is so good, but it is. It's even better for breakfast the next day, if that's your thing. If you are from Seattle, it's worth crossing the bridge.

I love the Croc. It's small enough to be able to enjoy a show, yet if you are not really feeling the music you are hearing, you can head over into the other part of the bar and chill out--- like other reviewers have noted. The place used to be so smoky that it detracted from the experience. Now- I can not tell you how AWESOME it is to see a show, then go home without my clothing and hair smelling nasty. It does retain a certain dark and dirty to it, which is just fine by me.

I have been going to this tanning salon on and off for a few years. The beds are always clean, the price is competitive, and it's not cheesy like some tanning salons can be! As a fair skinned person, I was happy that the manager coached me about which bed I would benefit from the most in terms of getting quick color without burning.

There are dry cleaners on every corner here in Western WA, and I have tried most of them! For those of you living on the Eastside, Issaquah Cleaners (located in DT Issaquah near the Front Street Market) is the greatest. Inexpensive, timely, all around great service. They also do alterations at a very reasonable price.
