Ringo has been doing our lawn for over a year now and we couldn't be happier. Recently, we asked him to level our ridiculously lumpy backyard and we came home one afternoon to find it done and completely weeded. He went beyond our expectations...as usual. We are going to completely re-do the backyard this summer and can't think of anyone we'd trust more to do it than Ringo. Ringo rocks!

I called Ringo to do our lawn based on Connie's post/recommendation and we honestly couldn't be happier. He is exactly as she described. He's dependable and incredibly hard-working. At first, we hired him to clean up our yard and make it look respectable again. After we saw his work ethic and attention to detail, we hired him for the regular up-keep. He's awesome. Our neighbors witnessed him doing the first landscaping clean up and I got unsolicited comments from them about how hard he works and about what a great job he did. He's the kind of person who makes you wish you could clone him for the other things you need some trustworthy help with in your life - like a dependable contractor, painter, what-have-you. I have no reservations about recommending him - quite a gem.

They charge a service fee (around $40 to come and take a look). They got high ratings (9.5 on CitySearch and Service Magic), so we thought we would just absorb that fee into the price of the job....

But the estimate was about 3-4 times what other plumbers gave us. I can't comment on other aspects of their service, but I think it might be wise to explore other plumbing services before using these guys.

Chris was right on the money about this guy...We needed a tree removed and I looked for references on Judys Book. I saw Chris' post and called Dave Weiss' Tree Service. From the get-go, Dave was really professional. We set up a time for him to come and give us a quote. He was super prompt. The day he removed our tree, he even impressed our neighbor. She watched the whole thing. He's conscientious, careful and knows exactly what he's doing. In addition, his demeanor is quite professional and sincere. I wouldn't hesitate to use him and his company in the future.

I would check out Easy Street Records. I'm kinda spoiled from having access to Amoeba Records in S.F. and L.A. (huge selections and will buy and sell vinyl). Easy Street isn't as big as that, but...
I would check out Easy Street Records. I'm kinda spoiled from having access to Amoeba Records in S.F. and L.A. (huge selections and will buy and sell vinyl). Easy Street isn't as big as that, but it's a cool place with no attitude issues. I think they buy back vinyl.
