It seems like no matter what side of town you are from, there is somebody who knows about this place located on the west side of Indianapolis. Most people who do know about it, don't mind the trip to go eat here either. It actually looks like it could be a closed down place from the outside and the inside looks like your typical mom and pop restaurant. Don't be fooled though, this is some of the best food around! A typical meal will cost you $5.89 and is enough for two people. They also have great desserts. All the food reminds you of something grandma used to make. For breakfast, they also have a great deal called The Big Mann's Breakfast. It is way too much food for anyone! One order will feed me and my three children! (They are 7 and under, but still!) If you are looking for healthy options though, this isn't the place. This is just good country cookin'.

The Melting Pot has opened a new location in the strip mall at the intersection of State Road 135 and County Line Rd., in Greenwood, IN. From the outside, it doesn't look like anything great, but the inside is much different. It has a very sophisticated and romantic atmosphere. This is a fondue restaurant, which is definitely something new to the area. They offer individual entrees, dinner for two and, what they call, the "Big Night Out". The individual entree is just what it sounds like, your main course only. The dinner for two includes your choice of a cheese fondue, salad and main entree. The "Big Night Out" is your choice of cheese fondue, salad, entree and chocolate fondue for dessert. Everything was delicious during all of my visits, especially the chocolate! The service was wonderful, the manager even stopped by our table to see how everything was. The price is more expensive than other restaurants in the area, but I definitely would recommend this place for a special night out.

The Flower Factory is new to the Greenwood area and I suggest that you stop by! They are in the strip mall on US 31 where The Shoe Carnival is. They are a paid membership store, like Sam's Club, but since they are new to the area, they are giving free memberships to build their clientele. They will also give you a day pass if you want to look around before joining. They have a little bit of everything, so don't let the name fool you! Everything that they have is at a great price also. They have great prices and selection on catering needs, birthday party settings, scrapbooking, school supplies, stuffed animals, baskets and more! I went crazy in here my first visit and still spent less than $50.00.
