I have been shopping at Avenue for years, and in the past few months have had 3 negative visits. Today's visit took the cake for the worst Customer Service ever. I have never had a manager talk to me like I was spoken to today-rude, hostile, belittling. Wow. I'm bummed because they have decent clothes, although the clothes do tend to not hold up well after washing, shrinking and fading are the norm. They always have good sales and are affordable, and have great selection. I have just noticed that the Round Rock location has some MAJOR issues with their employees. I'll drive farther to go to another location.

I fully support buying from locally owned stores vs. chain stores. I live in Round Rock and want to support Round Rock business. I bought my aquarium and fish at Partners and am really happy with them. However, they are more expensive in their supplies than Petsmart and...WHY do they have to sell puppies that are crammed into TINY, stinky, really hot plexiglass cages? I have owned a toy poodle and a Yorkie, both of which are sold here, and CANNOT imagine keeping them in such an environment. Not even a shelter keeps their rescues in these conditions. Also, the ferrets, guinea pigs and rabbits were crammed into a similar setup. I just really hate supporting a business that is so indifferent to dogs' needs! I'm not a bleeding heart liberal, or a member of the SPCA, but it was really hard to see. I'm going to Petsmart in the future...cheaper, good quality, and the employees were actually better too.

I haven't been happy with them, either. They never have the car ready when quoted, even if I'm waiting there with kids in tow. Sent me home with a lug nut missing from my tire after I had tires rotated, and tried to tell me I had gone in with it missing and it wasn't their fault-lie. Stripped my oil drain plug completely (I had to buy a new one at the dealership) because they didn't have the right size socket wrench. Not good for quality or dependable work.

We took our daughter here for her first dental visit. Under 3 years old is free. The good news: nice office decor, comfortable and clean. However, none of the staff impressed me. The office staff totally ignored me. The hygienist sounded like she was reciting from a script. Dr. Freeze did not introduce herself to me or my child and proceeded to force a toothbrush covered with nasty flouride treatment on my daughter's teeth. No explanation at all of what she was doing. Of course, my daughter promptly started crying and we were dismissed. NOT the way I would have liked a first visit to go. The hygienist talked to us like my daughter was a baby-which she isn't- and she and the dentist failed to walk us through any of the procedure, which left for a traumatic first visit. I will not be back.

The office is clean and well run, it's easy to get an appointment, I never had to wait in the waiting room long...Great all around.

This is the only fine dining I've been to in Georgetown, so I don't know how it compares there. I've dined often in Austin, and would drive down there again rather than go to Wildfire. Waiter was bad, hostess bad, reservations ignored. Food took forever to come out and though the beginning courses were great flavor-wise, the entrees were less appealing. Crowded layout, loud music, overly priced and pretentious without living up to the standard. Just not worth the price!

Wow, these are great donuts! I love the donut holes too- they always give you more than you pay for, and they just melt in your mouth. Often the donuts they give me are still warm, fresh from the oven- they have to bake constantly to keep up with the demand! It's always busy, but worth it. Drive thru is convenient. Their kolaches are also good.

Gini Ragsdale is a nurse practitioner. That means she can handle the basic stuff, like a cold or flu. However, I have received bad information from her, that other Drs. disputed, more than once. She is extremely kind, approachable, personable and friendly-kind of grandmotherly. However, for any serious medical care, she is just not competent. And I do not trust her ability to make accurate diagnoses (she messed up on mine twice), which is kind of why you go to a doctor...

I will agree that it is nice to have weekend hours available. It is also nice that there are nurses you can call for advice and you can make appointments online. However, there are many negatives. The offices themselves are old and dirty and the parking lot is a mess- luckily, their location is moving. I am not impressed with my kids' pediatrician. She is rushed, does not spend ANY time answering questions- I literally have to stop her as she walks out the door. Wait time is bad. And for my and my husband's dr.--we've tried 2 and they both were horrible. Again, long wait, bad nurses, rushed doctors, not helpful or personable. I use the lab regularly, and am always disappointed-I always have an appointment, but I have never had a wait shorter than 20 minutes, even when no one else is there. Appointment time means NOTHING to the lab. This place is good for location and because the practice is so big, you can always get in to see SOMEone. Beyond that, not so good.

Stayed here on our wedding night. Granted, the service is good. They gave us complimentary chocolate strawberries. But, the room is old and not four star worthy. There was a dog barking in the next room (we called the desk and it was eventually quieted), and it just wasn't as nice as the price would indicate. Only exception- the Four Seasons Cafe, the hotel's restaurant, is worth every penny. Absolutely divine food and service. Eat here, don't stay here.
