Queen Mary Tea Room

Saturday, February 24, 2007
As a former employee of Queen Marys I definitely agree that it is crowded and small. we would have to "make room" on weekends when we would be overbooked. Reservations are nice ,but Mary will always find a space for the "walk ins", even if she has to push a reservation back a half an hour. ALL the cakes are fabulous and the creme brulee is to die for. The scones are the best in town, but come early for those,Bev,Mary's mom only makes about 6 a day, and when there gone, there gone. The tea selection in one of the best, and the food is great.I love the soups, and still long for them. However everyone should go for the high tea, and remember to ask for a tiara
