When we moved to the area, I had to pick a ob/gyn out of the book of physicians that our health insurance considered "in network". Dr. Nelson Alawode is who I found and I am glad I did. He is knowledgable, friendly, funny, and knows how to be a calming presence when it is needed. He takes the time to learn a little about his patients and remembers when he sees them, for example, he always asks me how things are going where I work (he refers to my workplace by its name). Most importantly, he cares about his work which is to keep his patients and their babies healthy.
