I took my three kids to Walls of Clay today to make some Christmas items for their grandparents. We picked out our items and seated ourselves at a table. Linda came over and did step by step instruction on how to proceed. We worked on our projects for several hours. Each time we needed help Linda was in the back room where we had to hunt her down. When we were finished she rang us up. I knew we had to pay for the item but didn't realize that there was also a cost for paint time. I feel this should have been posted somewhere. I didn't see anything about this which cost us an additional $24.

This dollar store located on 87th Street right next to Baskin Robbins is awesome. This store is clean and not junky. I spoke with the manager and he said he is not going to stock the junky stuff. He can be seen most days in the store and is very helpful and even makes suggestions after asking what age group you are shopping for. He is very bubbly and upbeat with a smile always on his face.

The store is very clean and inviting. The lone employee working was eager to help but was not pushy. She made sure everyone had everything they needed at all times. She helped match clothes and gave her opinion on items to dress the outfit up or dress it down. She remained very positive throughout the entire time even though there were quite a few customers in the store. On one side of the store the clothing was more casual and one side more dressy but all in good taste.

I went to Jack Miller Isuzu in Olathe, KS to test drive a new Ascender. As I was walking onto the lot I met up with Chuck. He quickly introduced himself and asked how he could help me. I told him that I would like to test drive one of their vehicles. He began showing me the vehicle I was interested in and asked me questions. He was not pushy at all and actually very informative. I would definitely ask to speak to Chuck if I were to buy a vehicle from here.

Oceans of Fun is a really great place to take the kids. We had a blast here except that we went on a Saturday and the lines were very long. I would definitely recommend a visit on a weekday. The pools and slides were clean. All rides were rated appropriately. We even brought in our own tubes and there are air filling stations in which to air them up. This really saved us quite a bit of money instead of renting the tubes. We also brought in sandwiches and snacks which also helped on the expenses. Discount tickets can be bought at Price Chopper.

My daughter and I went bowling at AMF on College Boulevard. When we arrived they were having Extreme Bowling which was from 3:30-5:30 on a Saturday afternoon. My daughter thought it was the coolest thing ever. When checking in Alex brought my daughter a ball and asked if he could help get the names set up into the computer. He also came to the lane to put our bumpers up. About 15 minutes after we began bowling Ryan came to our lane to ask us if everything was going okay or if we needed anything. We visited the snack bar between games and our order was processed promptly with a thank you given at the end. Mike checked us out and visited with us for a bit. He asked how our visit was. He remembered that we had arrived during Extreme bowling and we talked about how fun my daughter thought it was. He thanked us after handing me my receipt.
The women's restroom was clean. We had a good time bowling.
