Shawnee Mission Theater in the Park is a great place for family entertainment. There are usually about 5 live productions a summer. There is a hill on which to sit and everyone brings blankets and chairs. Coolers and frisbees are also welcome. The productions begin when it is dark but you must arrive early to get a good seat.
