We hired a "kitchen designer" from here, and were extremely disappointed. She could not come up with a design after over a month. She said she was stumped. We eventually asked for a refund after a couple of months with no progress. The show rooms are very nice, but do not be deceived into spending $40k or more on incompetent designers.

This little hole in the wall news stand that looks like it hasn't changed in decades, has a giant selection of magazines - over 5000. They also have well over 100 national & international newspapers. If they don't have it here I'm not sure where they'll have it. You can spend quite a bit of time here perusing the shelves of interesting subjects.

I recently had LASIX to correct my nearly blind vision (-10.25). I could not be happier with the results. The staff was great. I was the 4th one of my friends to have Dr. Berg correct my vision. He is second to none. He said if he can correct my vision, he can correct anyones. It is a painless procedure and I was able to see 20/20 the evening after my surgery. Amazing! I highly recommend him to anyone interested in vision correction. You even get a video of your surgery :-).

Expect to pay about $10 per drink, but you won't need many drinks to catch a buzz. The tapas are decent, but nothing stands out in particular. Best to go on a week night and get great bar service. Recently I went on a very busy night and was shocked how rude the bar hag was. She kept telling customers to order something else if she didn't feel like making it!?!

Sawn White Oak, Curly Maple, and also the more common varieties. They also have a variety of types of moldings you can special order.

If you like inventive, fresh, delicious sushi, this is the place for you. It's a hole-in-the-wall place, but the ambiance is not why you go here. I recommend: crispy sesame tuna, spicy tuna on crispy rice, the honey handrolls, and tuna sashimi with japanese salsa. Although, be aware of the LONG wait. Make reservations and be prepared to wait your turn (you can order beers while you are waiting). It's worth it - the food will never disappoint.

The office is clean and efficient. Luckily, I have not had any major dental problems, so most of my experience has been with the hygienists. They are competent and friendly. My teeth feel clean when I leave and they don't casue too much pain.

I have shopped at Dominion on numerous occassions due to the convinient location. It is located in the LA Equestrain Center which hosts horse shows throughout the year. The prices are high compared to other tack shops or online, and I have had a few experiences with the staff being rude. They do carry top of the line merchandise, but is that any excuse? My father tried to order me a birthday present and commented on how discourteous they treated him.
