Just for the record, I love El Toro Bravo. The food is basic and delicious, the service is fast as heck, and the prices are very reasonable. They do all of the typical basic Mex fare - dinner plates with tacos, enchiladas, burritos, etc.
Beyond Carne Asada and a fish dish or two, you are not going to find anything fancy like Jalepenos across town - but frankly if you want a good tex-mex comfort food experience, it's hard to top El Toro Bravo. The mosaics on the wall are fun to look at as well - somebody put a lot of energy into that!
