We have eaten at Longhorn a number of times - it is a fast-moving place and often crowded but you get the impression that management there *cares* and even on the rare night that service is not super speedy it is friendly nonetheless.
The food is quite good, the way they have the menu set up it's kind of hard to screw it up - with steakhouses the key is the quality of meat they buy and it is very good for the price. Not in the range of Ruth's Chris or Morton's or any number of top steak joints but absolutely acceptable place to bring a family of four and get out under $120 or so.
