This museum is huge (400,000+ sq. ft.), has lots of permanent hands-on exhibits, and features many traveling exhibits as well (Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, Japanese Music, Moneyville, etc.). In 2004 they opened a new permanent exhibit - Dinosphere - that is incredible. They also have a special area for kids under 5 called Playscape.
Any time we have visitors from out of town, we always head to TCM - it's a guaranteed good time.

We had a reunion at this park recently and no one was familiar with the area. The Deerfield Park District helped us decide which park would be suitable for our get-together and Maplewood Park was perfect! We rented the (large!) picnic shelter. The playground was huge and beautifully kept - surrounded by lovely landscaping. There were even soccer fields nearby, so we were able to catch a game!

We visited this park for the first time last fall for an IN-GEO (Indiana Geocaching) picnic. The picnic facilities were very clean and well maintained. We spent quite a bit of time along the hiking trails and found them very well maintained as well. The park is beautiful with many neat features like waterfalls and caves. Camping facilities are available, and although we did not take advantage on this trip, many others in our group did.

I like the location of Mike's located on the east side of town, just west of I-465 on Washington Street (across from Kmart). The line usually isn't very long and it moves quickly.

Although we were very pleased with the service we received at Augusta Dental, I personally was very uncomfortable with the way their exam area was set up. It was a large open room with curtains between the patients. I prefer a little more privacy during exams/procedures. I do want to acknowledge how well they did with my son (11 months old at the time). We wanted to introduce him to the dentist at an early age and they handled it so well, I can't say enough good about the staff.

I can nearly always find what I'm looking for at HPB and this might be one of the nicest of their locations. A while back they remodeled and expanded quite a lot. They keep the store clean and organized and the staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. And it would be very hard to beat their prices!

I suppose that's good with difficult kids, but it was like they were trying to hit some turnover quota or something... the weird thing is that no one was waiting behind us, so the stylist could have taken a few minutes, but didn't. I doubt we'll be back.

Although their menu is very similar to other small Mexican/Tex-Mex places around town, I just like this place more. The salsa is just a bit hotter, the menu is just a bit more diverse and the staff is very attentive. The prices are great too. They do get busy on weekend nights, we prefer to go late in the afternoon on the weekend.
