If you are looking for a non-dealer, auto repair shop, I highly recommend Van Ess & Son. Located on 5 Mile between Inkster and Middlebelt. They are reliable, honest and their prices are fair. We have taken the teenager's late model vehicle in to be repaired as well as our newer SUV and have always been happy with their work.

This is a family owned and run business. We needed a garage door replaced and had done our homework via the internet as well as visiting showrooms. The people at Mike's are knowledgeable and friendly. They sell a variety of products at competitive prices. They have their own installer who was prompt and accurately completed the install of the door as well as the opener. My mother has an older swing arm door and whenever she has had a problem they have always been able to fix it with a minimum of fuss and $$

I have visited the Charisma Salon 4 times. After experiencing consistently late stylists, poor attitudes, inferior results, I've decided to take my money elsewhere. It is loud and poorly lit. The stylists don't seem particularly happy, I'm not sure if this is a problem with management or what. Although it may have changed, the make-up stylist had you sitting right in front of the receptionist's desk where it is very congested and very poorly lit. Certainly hope they have changed that.

Tom H. is right on in his evaluation. This is certainly a hidden gem. While from the outside it looks like a typical little asian restaurant, you will be nicely surprised when you enter. Relaxed atmosphere, linen tablecloths with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The food is fabulous.
