The people at All American Appliance are always friendly on the phone and in person. They will give you an appointment the next day or in an emergency on the same day. They always arrive on time for their appointments and always give an estimate before starting the work. They are reasonable in price and if your appliance is beyond repair they can get you a new one at a wholesale price.

This On The Border is located in the Garden State Plaza Mall but has it's own parking lot. It does get busy so you may have to search a little bit for a parking spot. There can be a long wait on weekends. There are tables in the bar and you can have dinner there. Food is always good and portions are a nice size. Wait staff is friendly and quick. However, for some reason they will not bring out a kid's meal early. I have requested that my child's meal be brought out with the appetizers and they say "the computer will not let them request a dinner early they all get done together". Umm, how about telling the cook with your mouth? Always free chips and salsa on the table.

This Blimpies is located in the mall but you can enter either from inside the mall or it also has a separate entrance from the parking lot. There is no problem finding parking. Although it does get a little busy at lunch time you should still be able to find a table. Staff is efficient and subs are fresh.

This supermarket is located in the Kmart shopping center and has a huge parking lot. The store itself is almost never crowded and you can check out quickly. Staff is helpful. There is a small area in the front of the store where all of the sale items are displayed so you can get what is on sale without having to search too hard for it. Store is well stocked but if they run out check with the customer service desk and they will tell you if it has been ordered and if so when it will be back in.

This Costco has a huge parking lot right out front and there is usually no trouble finding a parking spot or shopping cart. They have fresh flowers and great tasting baked goods along with the typical warehouse club offerings of bulk food items and furniture and clothes. There are always lots of food sample being handed out so you can try new things before you buy but if you want a meal the snack bar has great food at a really cheap price. Aisles are nice and wide. Staff is helpful and checkout lines are usually quick moving.

The Blauvelt Museum is located atop a hill on Kinderkamack Rd. The entrance is a little difficult to see until you are right on top of it and then you need to drive up a steep hill to get to the museum. There is a small gravel parking lot. This museum features wildlife art and has a beautiful if small gallery. There is no admission fee but they do accept donations. They are open Wed, Thurs, Fri and weekends. Call to make a reservation if you have a larger group. You can see the entire museum in an hour or two without rushing. Be sure to check out the sculptures in the courtyard out front.

This Quest is much cleaner than others I have been in and also much less crowded. There is a large parking lot and there is not usually much of a wait once you sign in. You may have to make an appointment for some longer tests but most of the time you can just walk in. Make sure they take down your insurance info correctly or you will get a bill for the full amount. Staff is friendly and professional.

Tumble Bee is located behind the Shop Rite on Old Hook Rd. You can't see it at all from the street. There is plenty of parking right across from the entrance. They have mommy and me and gymnastics classes and also hold birthday parties. For the birthday parties you bring in all of your own paper goods, food and drinks. Kids love it. There are ball pits and slides, trampolines, hang gliding, a bounce castle and more.
