Dosha is the best local day spa in town. They go out of their way to provide a warm, relaxing experience. Their newest location on Hawthorne is my favorite; it's big (almost 8,000 square feet), beautiful, and filled with natural light. The shower room must be seen to be believed. They can cater to special events (bridal showers, etc.) and individuals. Aveda products are primarily used. Gift certificates are available. It's best to make an appointment, especially on weekends, but drop-ins can sometimes be accommodated. Parking is always a challenge in the Hawthorne District, so plan ahead if you have an appointment.
