My coworker took her car here for brake repairs. She paid under $100 for new pads and to have the rotors resurfaced. She was really happy with the results. This place gives very quick service, which is always refreshing. We dropped off her car in the late morning and got it back before they closed for the evening. I think I'm going to take my car there for an oil change this week.

This store has a lot of great deals on furniture. It's much cheaper than Levitz or similar stores! I found a really nice dining room set there for only $500. They also have inexpensive couches, bedroom furniture and coffee tables. Even though the prices are low, the quality is not! Another good thing about the store is that they offer financing so you can afford to buy the furniture you need right now! Delivery times are also quick.

I tried Bee Tan because I cut a coupon out of the Penny saver. They have a deal where you can get one free Magic Tan when you buy one. I definitely like the idea of being tan but I'm not a big fan of skin cancer. Bee Tan has a very nice friendly staff and it is also very clean. Their coupons are good for existing customers which is better than most tanning salon deals. Besides Magic Tan, they also have a couple of types of regular tanning beds. Some of their prices are a little on the high side but if this salon is convenient for you, I would suggest giving it a try! Check out the penny saver for coupons.

I stayed at this hotel last year when I was visiting San Diego, before I moved here. I picked it because it is known for its extensive pop art collection, something I really like. It turned out to be a great hotel. The rooms are decorated in a modern style and have fresh flowers. It makes you feel like you are staying in a really clean version of your own home. The staff is super nice, especially the bartender in their little restaurant. The hotel offers valet parking with for $18/day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to pay a little extra for something nice.

Ok, I think it's sort of funny to be reviewing Round Table Pizza, but I was saw another review for the same Round Table location that I lived next to for 3 1/2 years and I thought, what the heck. I'm personally not a huge pizza fan. There are only 2 pizza places that I love and neither of them is Round Table. But my boyfriend really loved Round Table so that's mainly what we ate when we were too lazy to cook or go out to eat. This location is a good one. The manager is nice and they have redone the inside so it's nice and clean. Plus, it is sort of fun to play video games while you wait for the pizza. You would be insane to eat at Pizza Hut, Mr. Pizza Man or Dominos over this place!

It might not be possible for me to rave enough about how much I love this bar. They have magnificent rum punch and if you aren't careful, the alcohol will sneak up on you and make you very drunk! They also have a full bar, especially many, many types of rum, and lots of types of beer. You can order food off a menu from this place two doors down, Asquew Grill, and they will bring it over to you. Try the Texas Bbq Chicken Skewers with mashed potatoes! Hobson's is located on Haight street so you get an eclectic bunch of characters but it is a clean, well-kept bar. They play all different types of music on their cd player and they have two tvs over the bar so you can watch sports or the news or whatever. If you are on Haight, make sure you stop by Hobson's Choice. It's on the corner of Haight and Clayton. Enjoy!

Q was my favorite restaurant for the 4 1/2 years I lived in San Francisco. The atmosphere and decor are fun, they have a good selection of beer and wine and the food is delicious and a great value. At most similar restaurants, you will get a portion that is about half the size for twice as much. I have been to Q a couple dozen times and have taken nearly every friend and visitor I've had in the city! They specialize in American comfort food, like fried chicken, steak, and also have a variety of vegetarian dishes, such as risotto, macaroni and cheese and a veggie grill platter. The desserts are also phenomenal. My favorites are a grilled banana with whipped cream and nuts, an apple crumble and chocolate mousse. Honestly, you have to try this place! It's one of the things I miss most about the city.

I've been to the Dakota Grill twice. I went on my birthday, which happened to be on Mardi Gras this year and I have also dined at the bar by myself. On my birthday I went with two of my girlfriends. The restaurant was quite packed because they were having a special deal where you get a mardi gras admission ticket and a $20 food certificate for only $30. Although our waiter was very busy, he was still attentive to our needs and helped us to have a very fun experience. We started off with a delicious appetizer, the artichoke spinach dip. It was the best artichoke spinach dip I've ever had. One of my friends got the peppercorn crusted ahi salad and it was great! For dinner I got one of the specials, a stuffed halibut! If they have this when you go there, you should definitely try it. We were much to full to try anything for dessert, unfortunately. The other restaurant highlight is that they have wine flights, which is always a fun way to sample new wines!

I love steak, as you will probably notice once I write more reviews. It's the kind of food that can be really, really delicious if done right. And in my opinion, it's not worth eating if it isn't done right! Greystone has delicious steak and side dishes. I ordered the filet when I was there and I loved it. The restaurant is somewhat pricey but unlike many steakhouses, you actually get a side dish with your steak so it doesn't cost you extra. I also had some good wine when I was there. I thought Flemings was a little better than Greystone but if Flemings is old hat to you and you want to try something new, give Greystone a chance. I also liked how you could sit outside and have some fun people watching Fifth Avenue in the Gaslamp. I'm not a huge dessert person but the vanilla bean creme brulee with berries is awesome!

I went to Fleming's for the first time this past week. It was so great. I was still thinking about the steak for the next 24 hours! When I first got there, I waited at the bar for my friend. I had a chance to peruse the wine list and bar menu. The restaurant carries over 100 wines by the glass and although I didn't try anything, the bar menu looks delicious, with appetizers like crab-stuffed mushrooms and an artichoke served with aioli. They also have a steak sandwich. When my friend arrived, we were shown to our table. The service was impeccable by everyone, from the server to the valet. We shared a spinach salad. The dressing and the goat cheese were perfect! The bread you get is toasted crostini bread with a couple of types of spreads. It's good but I really wouldn't eat any and fill up your stomach! I ordered the petite fillet and my friend ordered the boneless new york strip. Mine was definitely better. It was so tender, I was able to cut it with a fork! For a side dish we shared a double stuffed baked potato with pancetta and cheese. And desert was a lava cake. DELICIOUS! You have to get it if you eat at Fleming's. All in all, the night was wonderful. If you are planning on having a nice steak dinner, you should definitely go to Fleming's.
