Last week I went to the Lamplighters Community Theatre and saw a play called "Eat Your Heart Out." We got tickets at this booth at Horton Plaza for only $9. The play was awesome. There are only five actors in this play and each of them did a great job! The play was very funny. There was an intermission, where they had coffee and cookies. I would highly recommend this play to anyone and I will definitely go see another play at this theatre in the future!

The River has a lot of clothing. I think the best items are the Converse shoes and the cool purses. This store really isn't my style and I probably won't do much shopping here in the future but it's still a place I recommend everyone check out once. You may like it more than me. They have Lucky jeans and they have a wide variety of styles of sunglasses.

The Pink Zone is a fun store with women's clothes. They have tons of colorful t-shirts and jeans. They also have the cutest shoes and purses. I liked it that there were several things on sale when I went there. I got some cool skirts on sale. The Pink Zone also sells bikinis so if you need a new suit before you go down to the beach, it is a good place to stop. My favorite part of the store was definitely the huge selection of high heels.

The Freak Factory carries gifts for all types of people. It sort of reminds me of Haight Street in San Francisco. They have lots of Grateful Dead items, candles, incense and cds. Basically, if you can think of it, they probably have it. They have an interesting collection of tie-dyed shirts...yuck! I like their selection of purses and they have nice aromatherapy candles. I would recommend stopping into the store just because there are so many things to look at, even if the store is not your style.

This is one of those stores that is really fun to browse through. They have all sorts of cool items like candles, soap, jewelry and cookies. They also have some good items for organizing your life, which I really like. They have all sorts of pads for making lists and they even have a notebook for organizing take-out menus! A Posh Life is located right next door to a coffee shop so you can go in and buy a coffee before you come to the store to browse!

They also have a lot of sarongs to choose from and so many sandals that you are bound to find what you are looking for. They sometimes have clothing from the previous season on sale too. If you need swimwear, this should be the first place on your shopping list.

I liked their selection of bathing suits and also their Roxy clothes. For guys they have nice shirts from Billabong that you can wear out at night. It is also a good place to shop for a wetsuit.

The store also has embroidered purses and lots of cute trinket boxes that are good for gift giving. My favorite thing about the store is that most of the clothes come in bright colors.

This place has all sorts of fun stuff to wear, like pink wigs, boas and furry purses. They also have lots of colorful shirts that I wouldn't want to see my guy in, unless it was Halloween. But for all of you much more adventurous types, you should check out the place. For women they have fishnet stockings, scarves and even hot pink knee-high boots! This store is really fun to spend some time in. They also have locations in Hillcrest and Encinitas, which I haven't been to yet.
