The food is really good and authentic. The cuisine is traditional Greek and the atmosphere transfers you in a cruise through the Greek Islands. The service is pretty impressive as well. Our Greek waiter explained to us everything we needed to know about the restaurant's dishes and he also enlightened our mythology knowledge.
Egg Plant Salad-Grilled Octopus as appetizers and Prok Loin or whole Grilled Fish as main courses

Really good tomato soup, awesome omelettes and really great servers.

The beer list is by far the Brickskellar's main attaction; with over 500 beers available, it boasts one of the largest beer selections of any restaurant in the world.
However, just because the beer is printed on the beer list doesn't mean its in stock. The staff will tell you to have a second choice in mind, and you'll usually need it. Sometimes a third choice. That said, with so many beers to choose from even your 5th choice is going to be a very, very good beer. Oh, these beers are all bottled, not on tap.
Pub fare is the rule, including well-regarded onion rings and buffalo burgers.

I am always astounded at how good it is. Alero has no equal. Consistently superior to all other Mexican restaurants. Food here is beyond the quality of all other Mexican restaurants. The flavors, colors and textures max out the top of the excellence scale. You are guaranteed the best Mexican food you've ever eaten. Margaritas are also unrivaled. This is the only Mexican restaurant to consider. Worth traveling long distances for. I return again and again only because it is so much better than all the others

I have eaten lunch at Matisse. The food was well prepared in a French Bistro style. Sauces were light and flavor enhancing and food was tasty. Wine list is good, although in the upper price range....

The restaurant ambience is very pleasant. While not inexpensive, it is definitely worth a visit. It reminded me of visiting France.

The food here is great! There is great vegatarian food here. All of my pickey family found food here. Appetizers and entrees come with a choice between Thai spicy, American spicy or mild. I love the pad thai. The service may be a little slow when it is busy, which is usually every Fri. and Sat. night. The wait is long but the staff is very gracious. Beautifully served and reasonably priced...a real DC find!

The menu is perfect for those looking for a light meal on a hot evening in Washington DC.
We were headed to the movies at the Lowes Cineplex next door but the show we wanted to see was sold out. We stopped in to Cafe Ole and enjoyed a grilled tuna sandwich while sitting out in the sidewalk section rather than indoors. It was a fun place to people watch and kill an hour while waiting for the next show. We will now plan to dine at the cafe before we go to any movie at that theatre.

The diner has a deserved mixed reputation, but it's still a great place. Breakfast is first rate. The malteds -- God, the malteds! -- are fantastic as are all the ice cream sundae goodies with hot fudge and whipped cream; I'm salivating here. The grill stuff -- like grilled cheese and tomato -- can be hit or miss, usually miss on account of lousy tomatoes. The atmosphere is loud and 50s-ish (with an oldies juke box) and lots of fun quarter-sucking games and prize machines for the kid in all of us. Open 24 hours on weekends. The movie deck is terrific. The owner is a great character who once ran for mayor of the District and included in his platform was the legalization of prostitution. No doubt, someone to talk to for as short of amount of time as possible.

This food is real! Always very fresh and perfectly seasoned. From the minute you walk in the door, and are greeted by William to the time you eat and Chef Ignazio does his dining room rounds to make sure the food was perfect, the experience is amazing. There is always nice Italian background music on and you can wander over to the beautiful well stocked bar after your dinner for a nice snifter. Your trip to Tesoro will truly be memorable, it was for me. All I think about is the Pesto Sauce it melts in your mouth.

The Parthenon looks like it came out of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding:" They have happy hour and a party room. They have out door seating and then you get the best view of the decorations.
