You have to, however, like a local place that knows your name, how you like your shirts(heavy starch) and treats you with respect. I do not even keep the dry cleaning tickets

My coworkers love this place. The $12 prime rib sub seems to be in vogue with our guys. I have recently become more of a vegetarian, so I ordered The Vegetarian...Something about toasting seems to add to the flavor...Whether its the melted cheese or the toast
They also had a jalapeno and pickle bar, which was a nice touch. Quiznos is surprisingly decent

I feel so at peace in this place. It must be the Feng Shui design that has adjusted my Chi where I can believe that the Low Fat scone is actually Low fat. How the heck does it taste so good without the fat. It must be a new Feng Shui(hope I am spelling this right) baking process.
Actually, everything is good in this place. Try the smoke salmon sandwich only offered on the weekends or the crimsonberry tea offered all the time. Sandwiches, soups and even the quote of the day make Flour an unofficial landmark in the South End

Four words: Blackened Chicken And Caper. This place is the best for burritos in Boston period. Now while its true that we do not have a huge Mexican population and are far away from Mexico for $6 bucks, you have a huge, fresh Mexican sandwich.
I was in San Diego, which is a bit closer to Mexico than Boston, and I thought Viva Burrito was as good if not better than the more seasoned competition
Please Note: I am not responsible for the inevitable gastric distress from the Blackened Chicken and Caper Burrito. It is, however, worth it

Giving back is always a good thing for yourself and the person who receives. Have you wondered if your money is actually going to charity? Most of us are well aware of the obvious scams and rip offs, but how about the seemingly credible organizations.
Well worry no more...There is a site called Charity Navigator that will rate hundreds of charities right down to their accounting statements.
It is very simple to use as they even break it down by type of charity and rate each ones by stars, one through four.
You may be shocked that your favorite charity is really about fund raising.

Why are all the really good things in life always have repercussions? Wouldn't it be great if plain salads were really bad for you and Sundaes were really good?
It would certainly make dieting more interesting.
There is a place called BGood that offers a good compromise. They actually have really good chicken sandwiches and veggie burgers. Ok, veggie burgers are not exactly favorite on anyones list, but they prepare it with really good guacamole and other condiments, so it actually tastes like something it is not....
But the best part is the fries. They are air fried. Is it as good as oil...No. Is it good enough...Hell yes, and a whole large order is only 120 calories.
They clearly post all the nutritional info right on the menu, so you can have a good meal for under 600 calories...

There is a Sushi restaurant named Oishii. The original is a shoe box sized spot in Chestnut Hill off Route 9. For years people in the know have always told that Oishii is the place for the best Sushi period. I never eat Sushi until recently, but it begs the question:
How can it be that much better? Its raw fish after all.
So now I have decided to eat Sushi, and ventured to their new place in the South End on Washington st. The place is beautiful. The layout is interesting as well.
But I do not get it. The sushi was good, but did not blow me away by any means. Maybe my Sushi palate is not yet developed. I also ordered the $20 ramen soup as well, and it tasted kind of like the instant Ramen soup that you just add water.
I feel like the only one not laughing at a very good joke, but for $75 for 2 plus tip for a little food, I should be blown away

I work in Dorchester...It is not exactly the culinary mecca of the world. However, we do have Lambert's for lunch.
You have to love a place that has one paper sign saying "when you walk through the doors, you are family" They also seem to mean it. First, the salad bar has about 50 items and about 15 dressings, and it is all fresh. Their sandwiches are varied and huge. They must have 8 kinds of turkey. They also feature 8 hot soups by Kettle Cuisine.
Sure, the financial district may have choice, but we have Lambert's

I live close by Jaes in the South End and have often wondered why I do not go more often. First, I enjoy the downstairs part of the restaurant. Its quieter and never crowded(not that I am unfriendly).
The Hot and sour soup is excellent, because quite frankly it is both. The seaweed salad was good, and I felt good about myself for eating it, which allowed to eat dessert afterwards.
I had sushi afterwards. Sushi is a radical departure for me, but it has grown on me lately. Most sushi places are just that, but Jaes as an array of Asian inspired cuisine, so people like I used to be can also eat well
