The day after we moved into our house, a 60 tree fell through the roof. We had been planning to hire Lau for a different job, and decided to hire him and his crew for this much larger job. VERY glad that we did! He was able to get started within a couple of weeks (in the middle of a very busy season) and his crew did a great job. He added some necessary venting, as well as doing some incredible drywall work on the room that was damaged (from the fallen tree).
His rates were more than reasonable, and we felt that he was really looking out for our interests (which seems to be rare among contractors).

I'm not sure what the last reviewer looks for in asian cooking, because my wife and I love Watercress AB! We just moved here from VA (outside DC), and have been searching for a place like this.
We love a kitchen that can provide delicious recipes from Japan, Vietnam, China, etc., and this kitchen delivers wonderful food. Add to that the warm, welcoming presence of Lily (co-owner, who remembers your name after meeting you only once) and beautiful seating areas, and you have a terrific dining experience.
There was one small issue with the dish I had ordered, and it was immediately address and a new dish sent out to the table within minutes.
We have discovered that there are a LOT of mediocre (or worse) asian restaurants in and around Redmond. Watercress does not settle for simply matching them; it blows them away!
As an fyi, neither I nor my wife work at this restaurant (as suggested in the previous review).
