Atmosphere was at first cozy .. service very attentive. But as meal progressed, noise from lounge was distracting.
Rib platter portions huge, but ribs so badly smothered with sauce that it made it difficult to eat. Completely hid any meat flavor. Failed attempt to mask that the ribs were a bit dried out. Rice side dish tasteless and dry. Wait staff substituted garlic mashed which was very heavy in garlic, but tasty.
Steak cooked properly and easy to eat, but huge chunk of unappetizing fat remained. Steamed broccoli extremely tough and was left on plate uneaten. Also had the garlic mashed.
All in all .. the visit was not unpleasant .. mainly due to the friendly staff. Price was very reasonable.
