Total Wine on 21st Street has so many different choices of imported and local wine and beer, it can make your head spin. You won't find Budweiser or cheap wine showcased here, although they do sell it. The store specializes in unique wines and microbrews, as well as imported wines from all over the world. Look carefully and you can find some great wine for a not so bad price. I love coming here when I am planning a nice dinner at home with friends or cooking for two.

The Sandollar shop in Virginia Beach has so many cute gift ideas and things related to the beach. You can't find things that they have in normal souvenier shops along the boardwalk. Their selection is great. from handmade things to novelties and decorative items. I have even seen some beautiful windchimes and jewelry in there. The prices are slightly high, but it is worth it if you are looking for that hard to find gift, or something to commemorate your special trip to the beach.

I was looking for a plane ticket price on a trip to England several years ago, and I was recommended to CI Travel. The agent I had got me a GREAT deal. Then before I got the ticket she found the same rate on an even better airline (Virgin Atlantic) for a little bit cheaper! It turned out to be the most pleasant experience I have ever had flying. Before that I had never even heard of that airline, but she said she had flown it a few times and really recommended it. It was well worth it. With her help the trip I went on was even better than it could have been!!

Granby North is one of the newest restuarants in the Norfolk area, and is doing really well. The interior is really cool and the food is pretty good as well. I wouldn't say their food is of gourmet caliber, but it's a great place to go and have a light lunch or an early evening dinner. The service is good and the prices are great, so I would recommend going there to at least check it out.
