People say that Nordstrom is a bit pricey. I want to say that you get what you pay for. Nordstrom carries items that are not ordinary. I love to shop in their cosmetic department. They carry cosmetic lines that you only find in the most exclusive fashion magazines. You never have to be concerned about whether a cosmetic color looks good with your skin tone or hair color. There is always a very knowledgeable, helpful customer service representative ready to assist you. I wish other department stores would study Nordstrom's concepts for customer service. They can't be beat!

Stadium seating in a movie theater, what a concept! It's about time too! Cinemark's seats are really comfortable. I like the fact that it doesn't matter where you sit in the theater, you will be able to see the movie. Their popcorn is always hot and fresh. That is something I look for in a movie theater. If they have a nasty looking concession area, I won't go back. And if the popcorn is stale and cold, I won't go back. Cinemark seems to be doing something right. They are my first choice when I go to see a movie. I give them Two Thumbs Up!

I have always said that women needed a place to call their own when it came to exercising. Well, I got my wish, Curves. I always hated joining a gym where men were involved. I never felt comfortable. Curves has a great concept. They make it easy for you to join and stick to your fitness goals. A group of us from work joined Curves together. Alas, we no longer work with each other, so we all go to different locations. But, at least we started together. And, it is great that Curves just keeps popping up everywhere! That really makes it easy to find a location near my home or job.

I had the pleasure of going to Regional Diagnostics in Bedford to have an Open MRI. What a wonderful experience I had at this location. I could tell from the time I called and made my appointment that the people were great. Their receptionist was bubbly, helpful and very kind. The staff managing this location were also terrific. The radiologist who took care of me did a great job too. If you are in need on an MRI, open or closed, give this location a call. I highly recommend them based on my experience.

Arabica used to be one of my favorite places to go to get a cup of coffee. So, when this location opened, and a new location opened in Garfield Heights, I was very excited. That excitement didn't last too long. On two occasions we visited the location in Bedford, and the one in Garfield Heights. Not only was the service poor, but the beverages we ordered were not even warm. It's a shame too because these places charge a lot for what they serve you. We will no longer stop at an Arabica for a beverage. Our friends won't either. They had a similar experience at these locations.

Rascal House was voted Cleveland Plain Dealer's coveted "Cleveland's Best Pizza" award. It is well deserved too. It was established in 1980 opposite Cleveland State University in downtown Cleveland. Rascal House is really growing. They now have five locations. They all serve great food too! Their wings are almost as popular as the pizza. We are very discriminating when it comes to our pizza preference. We love Rascal House pizza. We always have and always will. Congratulations to Mike and Fouly Frangos, rascal house pizza corporate owners. They have done a terrific job keeping all of Cleveland fed with the best tasting pizza in town!

When we discovered Geracis, we found a little piece of heaven on earth! Their pizza has won several awards from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, and other local publications. Once you taste it, you'll know why. When you mention Geraci's Restaurant, people immediately tell you how great the pizza is, but, they offer so much more. Their pasta dishes are mouth watering, especially the Lasagna. We also enjoy their Italian Sausage Casserole. Their salads are a great size, they use a nice variety of greens in them too. If you prefer your salad with cheese, they will pile it on! You can't be shy when you eat in the restaurant however, the tables are so close together that even if you go in alone, it will seem like you have company for dinner. There is very little privacy. Although, that can be fun too.

I am now a reiki master & massage therapist. I love to help clients find peace & rid themselves of pain. I do this through massage and reiki. I also enjoy teaching my students about reiki and watching them become reiki masters. The Sophia Center Gift Shop offers some very unique gifts, books, cd's jewelery etc..Whether you are visiting the Sophia Center to attend a program, take a class, shop in the gift shop or perhaps you are going to walk the Labyrinth, you will come away with such a feeling of peace.
