We've gone to GFP for a long time. The practice itself is well organized. They rarely run late and if they are late it's usually just a few minutes. When our doctor retired we were switched to Dr Tunkle's practice. She was very good. Asked all the right questions, offered altenative suggestions for treatment. Sat and listened to me while I talked.

Located in the Oaks Mall it is very convenient to be able to pop in for a trim or brow wax as you do other shopping. They also offer threading which I was not expecting. They do a decent job at coloring but are better at highlights. Haircutting is by far their forte. Overall not bad and not expensive.

Great two for one wells offers, and music that can make anybody feel a little nostalgic (specially if you were born before 1980). Check also for the live band playing schedule. Gainesville's music scene is very good, so you can always find a hidden gem.

I have been very satisfied with the work this outfit has don on my wife's 86 Honda Accord, my 94 Mercury Tracer, and on a previously owned Mazda MPV mini-van. They cost less than a lot of other services I have used, get it done in a timely manner, and they are close to home. It's nice not to have to go out to Newberry Road or Archer Road to get something done, for a change.

I went in there to find a video I'd been wanting to see forever,(haven't seen it since i was 7 months old) and once again..just another below average video rental store. But the service was good, and it smelled good.

If you are a University of Florida student, perhaps a freshman, who is looking to try some new places to eat 'just' off campus (I understand the sorrows of having no car, I was a new student once) I have good news. Larry's Giant Subs is right across from campus in a plaza that you can see standing at the streetcorner of University and NorthSouth. This place doesn't have the best food in the world or anything, but ultimately they will feed you for a decent price and you won't be disappointed. They are a little slow, but as you usually have an hour or so between classes to visit, you are left with plenty of time to get to your next class. Check them out : ).

I eat at this restaurant all the time. I would say that it isn't as polished as I might like, but it is definitely a winner anyways. This place is as inexpensive as a fast food restaurant, with fairly quick service, and a reasonably friendly staff. Its pretty small, but its located right across from UF campus so it is very convenient. I recommend this place to even those who aren't big fans of "Latin" cuisine. If you are wary, go in and try the Cuban Sandwich, its a safe bet. For me, the added benefit of coming to this place is the Orange Sauce they put on the table, I smother everything with it. Go try Fritanga, you won't regret it.

after i ran over a nail and went to the other location of this store in gainesville, i got my new tires and the workers were very nice, then the same day i hit a squiral that just happened to be standing over a nail. so i got a messy tire with a nail stuck in it. then i decided to take it here and got my tire fixed. good service!
