They are a mobile company, which means they come to you to work on your car whenever it is convenient for you. They are prompt, honest, & courteous. Prices are good considering that they travel to you. I definitely recommend this service.

Despite the popularity of car "makeover" shows on TV, Long Island retail has been slow to catch on. EZ Concepts, however, is capitalizing on the trend in Bay Shore with its brand new store. The decently sized shop has some nice displays of wheels, audio equipment, and off-road accessories (among other things). The people are very helpful and whatever is not in stock can be ordered and might possibly even arrive the next day. Definitely worth checking out!

If you're in the neighborhood and craving a cool treat, Rita's may be worth checking out. On a recent Friday night, the place was quite crowded with adults, teens, and children. They did have a fairly wide selection of ice flavors and other things such as smoothie-type drinks. However, if you are looking for something naturally flavored, you're basically out of luck and Ralph's definitely has a greater variety of flavors. The staff is somewhat abrupt but nevertheless, efficient.

This store has everything for the home - cookware, dinnerware, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen furnishings, furniture and supplies. Walking through HomeGoods is like taking a trip around the world. You can find teas, coffees, oils and spices from exotic locales, African decorations, ceramic Buddahs, porcelain from England, crystal from Eastern Europe and much, much more. It is exhilarating and calming at the same time. Prices are average, but much lower than in Saks Fifth Avenue or Bloomingdales. Clearance items are very nicely priced.

They have a wide selection of filters, skimmers and other accessories in addition to chemicals. This store also provides free water analysis and advice on what to add to make your water crystal clear. They run frequent ads, with great coupons for 99-cent products. Be careful of their hard sell - when offering advise, they tend to try to sell you the entire store.

There is always something that I want or can’t live without whether it is a new external hard drive, wireless network kit or a large box of blank media (CD or DVD). Sales prices are good, even without rebates, which are frequent. On the down side – sales associates are not very knowledgeable, so don’t expect too much by way of technical help.

Stop and Shop is a pleasant, well-lit supermarket with orderly aisle and nice displays. The Produce Department has very fresh fruits and vegetables and everything is also fresh in the Meat and Fish Departments. Prices are generally good, though the baked goods are priced rather high. The sales are great, especially if you use your Stop and Shop card for the best discounts.

Despite its name, Meat Farms is a mini supermarket and is a great place to buy fruits and vegetables at very good prices. They have a wonderful variety of just about everything, in or out of season, and usually have specials on basics such as tomatoes, cucumbers, many varieties of lettuce, bananas, grapes and apples. Everything is truly fresh. Their meat and deli departments are good too and they often have specials on fresh meats so heat up your grill.

I recently shopped at Kohls for cloths from the Junior Department. The selection is amazing - Mudd, Unionbay, l.e.i., Energie and more...All the brands that teens like. I was able to get great tops and bottoms in record time. On another trip, I shopped in the Young Men's Department. Again, I got everything I needed from top manufacturers like Levi's, Urban Pipeline, etc. Kohls also has great sales racks, where you can get up to 70% off on many items if you have the stamina to look through everything - I do, and always find something for myself at incredible prices.

Compare is a supermarket catering to the Latin community, but it is a great place to shop if you like hard-to-find tropical fruits, cheeses, candies and canned goods imported from Mexico, Central and South America. They also carry the popular US brands and basic foods. The main reason I love to shop there is fresh, fresh fish and good prices on great Portuguese rolls. Also, you've got to try Mexican hot chocolate - its the greatest. The store is crowded on weekends but with wonderful Latin music playing all around you - its hard not to dance in the aisles!
