My dream was to go to TU my whole life. In 1999, it came true. I transferred from Tulsa Community College to TU and never regretted it. I got a great finacial aid package, practically covering the cost of my education! I had great teachers and counselors and friends. I got involved in TUTV as a Host/Reporter, Staff Writer of The T.U. Collegian, and Producer/D.J. of The Underground 101.5, in addition to being involved in Baptist Student Union. When I graduated in Dec. 2002, I actually grieved. I didn't want to leave my second family. Now, I work as a freelancer and am proud of the fact I am the first Gibson to graduate college in my family...and for that...I will always be a Tulsa Hurricane...GOTU!!!

Tulsa Comedy Club combines both a dance club/bar and comedy club by having The Other Side next door, a place where you can hang out, and do whatever after the show. It's pretty cool. The cover is $10.00 and once you get in you have to buy a food or drink item to be seated. They have cool live comedians all the time coming through and it's pretty cool to come to.

Zio's is the best Italian resturant in the Tulsa area. Period. They serve great appetizers and have an extensive wine list. Their specialities include: Alfredo, Spaghetti, and of course, Pizza! They have wonderful 8" or 12" brick oven pizzas that you can top with any topping you want! And you gotta save room for dessert...they're out of this world!!
Zio's is a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it!!!

We always go to Cinemark for movies. It has a resturant that you can eat at and/or bring your food into the theatre! There is an arcade and multiple concession stands. Yoiu don't even have to wait...

Yoiu don't even have to wait in line...they have a ticket machine inside the building which makes going to the movies totally convienient!

We had a microwave, sink, HUGE BED, nice big tv, fully stocked coffee maker, and toiletries! They give you glasses, not cups. The only complaint we had was that the breakfast didn't have what we wanted, so we went somewhere else, otherwise it was perfect!!!

Once we were seated, we ordered cheese sticks for appetizers, and I ordered chicken stips, green beans, and french fries.
An hour later, we got the food...my meat wasn't done...I got mashed potatoes...and my green beans were covered in onions....I'm allergic to onions! Needless to say, we didn't stay.

I like this Blockbuster because it's in a great location, it's near Woodland Hills Mall and Baskin Robbins. My fiance and I like to go there after a shopping trip and pick up a couple of movies and games. Their rental fees are very inexpensive and they have great deals on snacks as well. Plus, late fees have been eliminated, but remeber to return them by the end of the week or you own them.
