I like this Strawbridge's. It is very nice and seems very fresh and current. The store is squeaky clean and the selection is good. I like their wide selection of housewares. Also, this store even sells some furniture and rugs. The clothes in this store seem good. And, unlike some Strawbridge's, this one is brightly lit and spacious. It feels upscale, definitely better than Sears. But the prices still aren't bad. Still, you see people buying things here! It feels alive! Plus the clerks here are friendly. If you like cosmetics, you'll love this store's huge assortment. They have so many makeup counters.

This store is not worth anyone's time. They take a while to mark things down (75% off Christmas ornaments in April) and their sale items are overpriced, since you know that they will go on clearance eventually... The staff are not helpful and they are not motivated. I watched as a customer called, asking for shoes. The clerk, in front of me, said "I can't be bothered to wreck my brain over a pair of clearance shoes." That's the type of service you get here. And the prices are the same as in the rest of the Strawbridge's chain. The Echelon Mall is a ghost town. I've heard that part of it is being razed. This Strawbridge's now accepts Macy's gift cards, so I think it has changed hands. Either way, the decor is outdated, the merchandise is stale (when really was the last time they restocked?), and the prices are bad. Avoid this store.

The clothes they sell here are unfashionable overall for men and for children. For women they are good. This store does not have any housewares, except for seasonal offerings near the exit to the parking lot, stuff like Kosta Boda crystal... They do carry makeup, but I think Strawbridge's has more than them. This is a classier department store. The floors are tile and very nice. The associates are friendly and treat you well. (The clerk from handbags came to serve me and I was a distance away.) The decor is great. However, I wish they had better stuff to buy at lower prices.

This CVS does not have a pharmacy. It is just a convenience store with great prices. They honor the sales circular printed for other, non-mall CVS stores. They accept manufacturers' coupons. They give Extra Bucks and sell medicines, toiletries, makeup, and some foods. (mostly soda and the like) The staff are efficient and the lines move. I've never seen them be out of stock on anything, even sale items. The thing I like about this store is how I can get my essential items while at the mall. And also, I like how this store is very small. It's so convenient! If you go, this store is near Boscov's.
The bad part? The store is messy. Shelves are mixed up with all sorts of items and things aren't where they should be. Selection is limited.

Compared to the other restaurants in Chinatown, Shiao Lan Kung is a bit pricey. However, compared to the prices elsewhere in Center City, I'd say that it is a decent value. The dining room is small. Even in the early evening on a weekday will there be customers. The staff are okay, but not especially helpful. The food is why you'd come here. The salt-baked squid is good. However, the seafood hot pot is just so-so. I'd say this is better than Imperial Inn. But I wouldn't wait all night to get in. The food is not to die for. Yet the newspapers seem to love this place- on the wall I saw articles from years back with glowing reviews of their food. Personally I'm not adventurous enough to try frog legs, though.

I was lured in to this Great Clips franchise by a sign that hawked $2.99 hair cuts when they first opened. Was I in for a surprise. The hair dresser was far from great. The wait was very short, and the salon was clean. The staff were polite, but frankly, they just didn't have the talent of cutting hair. The stylist spent a good forty-five minutes on my hair and she tried all sorts of products. I have had good results at the other Great Clips stores at Audubon Commons and Centerton Square, so I was very disappointed. The other customers who were in before me also didn't seem to have been well taken care of by the stylists. This salon is located in the Cedar Hill shopping center in front of BJ's. It has ample parking and the setting is nice. If you go, be sure to give them your name and address. Today I got a coupon for a $4.99 haircut. (which I won't be using since they messed up my hair last time.)

I hadn't shopped at a Kmart for years when I stopped into this one near the Moorestown Mall today. What a nightmare! This store is simply awful. It's like a time machine- taking you right back to the seventies or eighties- when this store was probably last renovated. The shelves are dirty. I came in to buy shampoo. The bottles were covered with some weird brown dirt on their bottom panels. The dish soap I bought was dusty. The production code on the back of it was not visible; it had faded away. The aisles are cluttered. The electronics department had CDs lying all over the floors. The clothes were overpriced for what you get. The whole store was depressing. Worst of all, Kmart hires only a handful of cashiers. Unlike Wal-Mart, the customer service woman refused to check me out even though she had no customers while the other cashiers were overwhelmed. (My cashier realized she needed change right when ringing me up.) All the lines are crazy because most cashiers are inefficient. Parking isn't a problem. But the prices aren't that great. I shop at Wegmans and Kmart prices are higher than Wegmans prices for many household/grocery items.

I've never come here for dinner or brunch, but I think you can't go wrong here. It is an elegant Continental/fusion style restaurant that presents everything beautifully. The calamari, for instance, comes in a wavy bowl. The soft shell crab I have tried had a tower of tomatoes with balsamic vinegar sprinkled on top. The warm chocolate cake (that is so yummy and is served with vanilla ice cream) is a work of art. One person who I ate with ordered the bento box of chocolate desserts. It was so cute! I actually saw Brasserie 8 1/2's dessert chef on the Food Network too. The prices are a bit high (considering I am from New Jersey), but I think it was worth it. The waiters are attentive and the decor is very well-blended. I think it's not all the food (which is above-average), it's the look of the place that makes Brasserie 8 1/2 a worthwhile eatery. You feel as if you are in awe when you walk down that curvaceous stairway into the restaurant.

I like El Azteca a lot. They're in the Ramblewood strip mall across Route 73 from On the Border. The food here is very well priced, and I think it is not too Americanized. The staff are okay, the food is tasty. However, remember that the portions are huge! And if you aren''t a fan of beans, don't eat here. I had so much beans to eat when I dined here. I loved their tamale and chimichanga. (I think that's what the dishes were called.) The tacos were a bit too cheesy and weren't that great. I agree with the other reviewers: this place has little decor. I've never tried the desserts or drinks, though: I was too full to eat another bite! Parking isn't any trouble. I would definitely bring a family.

There are so many places in the Deptford Mall where you can get fried chicken. There's Ruby Tuesday, Friendly's, and A&W- then there's Chick-Fil-A. Admittedly, Chick-Fil-A is my favorite fast food place- but I still think they are among the best in the Food Court. Their prices are lower than those of A&W, and their food is good. The chicken is fried in peanut oil, so it's extra sweet and tasty. Also it is not that expensive. I love their dipping sauces. This branch is busy, but the lines move- especially on weekends.
Location- near JCPenney on the second floor off Center Court
