It is on the ocean, has a pool, close to bus line to get to restaurants, but also there are a few little places close by and not too far from shopping for groceries either.

Now there are bad points. The walls were real thin, neighbors right above us were loud. The security tried to treat me like a child. It was still light out and the security tried to say that the pool was closed after sunset.
We were paying 1,200 a mo and I think if I were a child then of course I should not be at the pool. But I was 32 yr old. So if I wanted to be at the pool then it should not matter what time, but it was still light out and not dark.
Yet they would not tell those who were partying or loud at late night to quit.

Good food, healthy, lots of flavor, and great prices.

This particular one near Broward Mall we stayed at before right after the hurricanes. That was our first visit to this hotel.

For several reasons. 1 the rent goes up as of Dec 17, but if you see the carpets in the hall way on the floors (at least on the third floor they are stained) Yet they want to charge 100 + a night for a dive of a hotel.
2nd the loud neighbors who were drinking all day and we called several times when we were trying to rest last night and they still were loud.
3rd rude employees.
We have stayed in extended stays across the nation and never seen such bad service, rude attitudes, charge like they are a nice hotel, but have people that act like animals.
I can understand people partying in their rooms, but when it is so loud where I can't sleep even with ear plugs, then that is the time when we have to leave.

The crab cake was awesome with lots of crab in it. Shrimp on skewers, and macadamian nut crusted snapper. It came with beans & rice and veggies which was real good with the raisins which was different but good change.
It also was cool hearing like the sounds of the rainforest and the lightening little shows also.

We went to the front desk and asked an Indian gentleman if the hotel had high speed in the rooms. He stated yes and that it was wireless.
The room was your standard type room and we went to get on the internet. We could not connnect to the high speed. He went to the front desk and the man stated that the high speed was just in the lobby.
It cost 61 dollars and was not worth that. Also since we wanted to leave early to get on the road to get to Fort Lauderdale. We had a hard time to get checked out and the front office is closed from 11PM -7 AM
Most hotels I have seen, if they have continental breakfast then it's 6-6:30 am not at 7-9. It's just because it's right off I drive that it costs so much

We went to check Econo Lodge.
First it's not easy to find and then when we did find it, the clientele looked shady, when we asked about the high speed they said that it wasn't working.

First it's not easy to find and then when we did find it, the clientele looked shady, when we asked about the high speed they said that it wasn't working.
Plus it was 40 or so and it didn't look that well lit. So we left and checked and found Best Western which was maybe 4-5 dollars more. But safety is well worth the little extra few dollars.

Friendly staff and knowledgable of the area. Since we didn't know the area.

My husband treated me to Angelos for my birthday a few yrs ago when we lived in town. We lived real close anyway and the place was real nice for dinner.
