We hired Yardworks a few years back to so some patio work. They did a great job. Excellent work, service and very professional.
Recently we needed some yard/patio work done. I contacted Yardworks. It seems that there has been a change in owners recently. They gave us great prices. We hired them again.
Big Mistake!
They promised a lot but delivered little. They did the simple tasks fine. Their detailed work was poor. They made a mess of the yard and sidewalk. I spoke to the owner about it. He was very rude, immature and threatening. He reminded me of a high school bully. We finally hired another landscaper to clean up the mess. Overall it ended us costing us more.
The positive reviews were probably written before the ownership change.
Also, they claim to be EP Henry authorized dealer (they used to be). I called EP Henry and asked about Yardworks. They informed me that Yardworks were no longer authorized. They said that there had been too many complaints filed against Yardworks. Not surprising.
Would I hire NJ Yard works again? Never
Would I recommend them to anyone? No.
Pros: great price, good at simple tasks
Cons: unprofessional, rude, messy, poor detailed work
