My wife hates when I go here-lol. When I bring our son with me the problem is only compunded :) We find so much fun stuff here and our imaginations can run wild with inventions and projects. They have the wierdest assortment of art supplies, building supplies, machine parts, toys, and other things that would be deemed useless. The prices are great though! We spend hours going through shelves and bins.

My wife started scrapbooking when our sons were born and loves the variety of this store. I am drug into here on a regular basis-lol. The supplies aren't cheap but they are high-quality and there is an amazing amount of variety. Anything she can think up and suddenly needs she can usually find there. I had no idea this much stuff existed for scrapbooks!

We like this car wash because the location and price is great for us. They do a great job getting the car clean and go out of their way in customer service which I think is a lost art nowadays....

One funny thing that happened is that we went through here years ago with a car that had a loose rear bumper. It came a bit pulled out during the process so westoped in the parking lot to push it back in. The manager came running over apologizing like crazy and assuring us they would pay for the repairs. Tempting-lol-but it was not their fault. At the time a very nice manager!

New Hope was like home to us and the people our family. They are wonderful! It is a nice, traditional church with a wonderful heart. You will get welcomed :) and they are there if you need anything....

Very personalized. We would still attend there had we not felt called to a church plant in the inner city.

This is a very interesting, quirky, museum in Minneapolis. Founded by Earl E. Bakken who invented the first transistorized pacemaker.
Centered around learning about electricity and magnetism there are several exhibits and hands on activities to interest kids and adults. You can play a Thermin [first elcetronic musical instrument], generate a 60,000 volt spark or visit Frankensteins Laboratory.
I agree it isn't huge or overly impressive but is a nice stop to add when checking out a historic neighborhood of Minneapolis or if you are studying the concepts with a class of children.

We love the Science Museum of Minnesota!
They have wonderful permanant attractions like the Art Park and Mini Golf, Dinosaurs, Mummy, Electricity etc... and at least 1 rotating main attraction. Currently it is Body Worlds. [Incidentally, this one is pretty gross, I didn't care for it]. They also have the Omni Theater which is amazing for watching educational films and documentaries.
There are great deals for free & cheap admision too! Of course check your local library for the free museum pass but also, if your family has Minnesota Care for Health insurance or if anyone receives WIC- you are entitles to a free membership that charges only $1 a person admission.
