Patel Cash & Carry is the home store away from home for the expatriot Indian community. They have a good selection of fresh vegetables including vegetables found only in Indian stores, such as suran (yam), drum stick, long beans, and snake gourd. The store is small, but they carry all the spices, rice and lentil varieties. Ready-made frozen food and spice mixes are also available. They have a decent selection of pickles and sweets. The store can be very crowded, especially on weekends.
