I heard so many positive things about Rich Dad, Poor Dad that I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy. When I finally did, I couldn't understand what all the buzz was about. The book didn't contain any real advice about how to earn or save money. Instead, the author just trotted out general statements that we've all heard before (invest in real estate, pay yourself first, don't run up credit card debt).
In addition, the book was very, very repetitive. It's almost as though he didn't have an editor because he repeated the same things (with only slight variations) three or four different times throughout the book.
The bottom line: don't waste your time or money with this.

The Purpose-Driven Life is a great book for Christians who are looking to get back in touch with their spiritual side and who want to make religion a key point of daily life. The book is meant to be read one chapter at a time over a 40 day period, and each chapter focuses on one specific thing that the reader should work on in order to improve his or her life.
As I said, though, this book is for Christians. God and the Bible are so much a part of it that if you don't believe, you won't get much else out of the work.

Their prices are reasonable, and they have a pretty good selection of bowling balls to choose from if you don't have your own. They also have many leagues to join if you are a more serious bowler. There is a restaurant in the building and a bar/lounge. The lobby also has video and pinball games so the kids can entertain themselves in that way if they don't want to bowl.

But I have been quite pleased with their customer service so far. I have had to call in and reset my pass code a couple of times because I forgot it, and they were always patient and helpful in those instances. The monthly monitoring fees are reasonable, so if you are looking for a home security system, try Security Solutions.

I haven't tried Sporty's catering service, but I have gone there for lunch on several occasions. They have pretty good cheeseburgers and fries. They also have a lunch buffet for less than $10, but I was pretty disappointed in the selection. You can choose foods like spaghetti, salad, thin crust pizza, and things like that. It wasn't very much at all. In addition, if it happens to be a slow day at Sporty's, the buffet food isn't as fresh or tasty as it could be.

St. Giles is an excellent Catholic church. I have been going there for years, and I have learned a lot. I find that the priests deliver thoughtful and inspiring sermons that have practical applications in my life. I also like the fact that St. Giles has a Saturday evening Mass, which frees up Sunday mornings if I have guests or whatever.

The Marshall Mathers LP was Eminem's sophomore effort on a big label, and sealed his place as one of the best-selling rap artists in the world. The famous tracks on this CD include "Stan," "The Real Slim Shady," and "The Way I Am." You'll know these right away, but many of the other tracks are worth listening to, as well.
