my daughter had open heart surgery at six weeks, she was in the cicu for about 6 weeks and had a cath surgery about a mth later. the heart team at children's and the icu team saved her life. they are dedicated to their patients and help the parents understand what is going on with child.they encourage parents to sit in for rounds. they give diagrams and pictures of the anatomy and. i have seen the sit bedside for , hours to make sure patients stay stable. the doctors give their all at children's, they love what they do and are very talented. i would recommend them.
