Yummy ice cream with all sorts of toppings, plus turtles and other hand-made candies. I came here with my husband when I first came to Chicago with him, so we have fond memories. The only trouble is it's a small restaurant, so it can be hard to get a table, especially if you've got many people.

I had never seen a dollar store in Skokie, so when I saw this one i was hoping for more. Crowded aisles, overcrowded shelves with substandard merchandise that costs MORE than a dollar? Come here in desperation, you may find what you need. Easier to get in and out than most department stores. I bought wrapping paper here for a friend's birthday.

I came here with my husband and we both had great plates. He had a salad with scallops on it. I had blackened catfish, and we both shared. It was all great, and the wait staff were friendly and tolerant of our baby, who was a big ham during most of the meal. We'd love to go back soon, if you get on their mailing list they send a lot of coupons.

The ice cream at this shop is fabulous. They have a lot of flavors, and it's so delicious. The prices are average for a high-quality ice cream shop, and you wont' regret it if you come here, except if you have to wait a long time. We came after 4th of July one year, and it took forever to get a cone. Kids got tired of waiting.

It's pretty easy to get an appointment, and glasses are ready fast. Prices are OK, they take a lot of different insurance plans, too.

I went to school here not so many years ago, and it was and is a great school. The specialists (science, art, music, etc) really round out your education, and you get to do plays and other fun...
I went to school here not so many years ago, and it was and is a great school. The specialists (science, art, music, etc) really round out your education, and you get to do plays and other fun enrichment activities. Each year they have a festival each May celebrating cultures. Very involved parents at this school.
