I've been going to Eddy's since I was very young. I remember everyone in our area going to this one particular bakery only. They do have an excellent variety of goodies and their prices are very fair. It's got the feel of a small time, friendly family run bakery, which I love. This was the only bakery that my stepfather would get this baked goods at, for good reason.

Moon Star is the absolute best quality in chinese restaurants in all of Southern CT! No joke! We've been to lots and lots of chinese joints because my other half craves chinese about once a week. I've gotta say that Moon Star will be our pick each and every time. Their prices are very, very fair (actually a little underpriced) and they have you in and out instantly. I can't understand much of what they're saying, but I'll assume it's nice things since we go there so much. :) Visit and let me know what you think!

We've been renting from Tommy K's since high school. They've always had a pretty vast collection of videos and game rentals. We mainly go there, though, because of the service. It's a small business that really is geared towards the customers. We tried our local Blockbuster, but quickly came back to Tommy K's because of the lack of personality Blockbuster had. The rentals are somewhat pricey, but they do have decent specials.

Everyone in this practice - doctors and office workers alike - are so incredibly friendly and great with kids. I'm sure they've seen all kinds - criers, whiners, trembelers - so it's understandable that they'd be comfortable with them all. My son is incredibly shy but opened right up with this group. This group was recommended to me by a family friend and I'd recommend it to other locals as well.

This restaurant is the closest to my home so we visit there every so often. The atmosphere is great inside and they have a very cool outdoor dining area. Since they are right on the water, you can walk to the dock and actually feed the Carp! And I swear on my most favorite pillow that these Carp are about as large as a nine year old child! I nearly passed out when I first saw these fish. So many people feed them, that they've grown enormous! Visit for a nice dinner and bring your camera, or no one will believe you!

I do a lot of sewing and am an admitted fabric addict. I seem to find something new and unique every time I visit this location. The prices are a bit steep (my advice is to be sure to sign up to their circulars because you receive a 40% off of one item coupon each week), but their selection is vast and their workers are very knowledgable and helpful.
