Incompetent worked caused major damage

Rudy's represented that a qualified worker would do our job- but an hour into the project, the trained plumber left and an inexperienced worker ultimately made a significant mistake causing major damage to our heating system. Rudy's not only disclaimed responsibility - and didn't even care enough to send someone to assess or repair the damage. We hired another contractor on an emergency basis. When we contacted Rudy's to ask them to step up to their responsibility, they threatened us. However, they never asked for payment. If you deal with them, make sure you get a written estimate, a complete job description and a commitment as to the experience level of the plumber who will be on the job.
