The Reston Zoo is a cute little place to take the kids to. Kids can see zebras, antelope, bison, ostrich, alligators, donkeys, emus, camels, reptiles, waterfowls and more. The staff in this zoo are very lively and involved. The biggest attraction is the capybara, a giant aquatic rodent from South America that is not found in all zoos. A wagon takes them around the park to show them all the animals and they can even feed some animals!! The zoo is open daily 9 to 5 and there is a fee of $8 for kids and $10 for adults. Kids below age 2 can come for free. All in all its a great educational journey for kids and adults alike!
